We have adopted two Goldens from GRRR. Both have been great family members. We adopted Webster when he was a puppy. He lived for 13 years after he came to us. After Webster passed we went back to GRRR to adopt a Senior Golden. They had Comet for us. He was a Pure White nine year old pure bred Golden. He was a great addition to our family. Unfortunately he lost all mobility in his hindquarters when he was only 13 years old. We miss him so much.
We are in our 70’s and don’t feel it would be fair to adopt a puppy. We are hoping to find another senior Golden from GRRR.
We have been married 53 years and have had 7 male Goldens.

This is our second time adopting through GRRR. We can not be happier. Our first girl, a flat-coated retriever blessed us with her long, sweet, happy life.
We decided to make the nearly 100 miles, each way, trip to GRRR. (Our new home is now south and east of Castle Rock.)
So very pleased with our latest furry-family-member.

I had to surrender my dog Clyde. I thank God for this rescue very warm amazing people. Eric was super compassionate. Clyde took right to him and this team is definitely a blessing. Thank you so much.

Amazing facilities. Amazing people. And we got the Golden (actually a beautiful English Cream) retriever love of our lives! We couldn’t be more happy with him and the entire experience with Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies! So happy and thankful. Goldens rule… (your heart!)
