Our AKC-registered golden retriever breeders have nothing to hide, unlike a lot of golden retriever breeders that distribute through pet stores or do not allow you on their premises. Trust us. If golden retriever breeders won’t let you on the premises, there is usually a reason that is not in your best interest.

We have adopted two Goldens from GRRR. Both have been great family members. We adopted Webster when he was a puppy. He lived for 13 years after he came to us. After Webster passed we went back to GRRR to adopt a Senior Golden. They had Comet for us. He was a Pure White nine year old pure bred Golden. He was a great addition to our family. Unfortunately he lost all mobility in his hindquarters when he was only 13 years old. We miss him so much.
We are in our 70’s and don’t feel it would be fair to adopt a puppy. We are hoping to find another senior Golden from GRRR.
We have been married 53 years and have had 7 male Goldens.

This is our second time adopting through GRRR. We can not be happier. Our first girl, a flat-coated retriever blessed us with her long, sweet, happy life.
We decided to make the nearly 100 miles, each way, trip to GRRR. (Our new home is now south and east of Castle Rock.)
